Let me ask you this, have you ever done something in your life where you are doing all the things externally, you’re taking the course, you’re being motivated, you’re taking the action, but it seems like it only lasts for a certain period of time, and then you’re back at square one?
I’m guessing we’ve all been there. Why is this happening? Because of our genetic setpoints. As humans, we have happiness setpoints, freedom setpoints, safety setpoints, connection setpoints, love setpoints, and so many more that are run by the deepest layer of our genetic coding. It’s kind of like we’ve been coded like a computer. These setpoints determine how our life gets to be, who we are, and what we have.
So much of what we are doing right now to try and be happier, feel more free, feel more safe, etc. are only working for a small portion of people because it’s only working on our mind and our behavior.
We can change our thought patterns. We can change our behavioral patterns. But what we’re finding across the board is it’s often short lived. You have to continue doing the behavior, you have to continue taking the action. You have to continue having outside motivation. You have to continue doing these things in your outside world to actually keep up feeling that way. So what ends up happening is we’re often up and then we’re down, we’re up, we’re down. We get motivated to do something. We’re so motivated. We do it. We ask, “Wow, why can’t it be like this all the time? Why can’t I feel this happy all the time? Why can’t my life run like this all the time?” And then sure enough, something happens in the external world. Something comes up and BAM we’re back to that setpoint. We can’t hold it.

These setpoints affect every area of our life. We are born with a certain genetic code, and that genetic code is often activated through our environment, our experiences, our emotions, and more. Until we get to the root and change our setpoints, it’s really hard to actually change what’s happening in our life. That’s why we see very few people creating the life they want.
We are not living the human experience we desire. We see people suffering from an immense amount of stress, overwhelm, and anxiety. We see people struggling with disease and other ailments. We’re trying to focus on what we want, focus on the positive, and in doing so, we ignore the stuff we don’t want to see, feel, or experience. But instead of helping us feel better, that is actually keeping us more stuck, confused, frustrated, stressed out, and anxiety ridden than ever before.
As humans, we weren’t wired or coded for happiness. We weren’t wired for safety or freedom. Our genes were not created for these things. Why? What did we need to do when we first got here? We needed to survive, procreate, and be productive in order to stay alive. So, our coding is for survival, production and procreation. And you know what guys? We’ve been there, done that. We’ve done it. We’ve populated the earth. We’ve survived. And we’ve been very, very, very productive. At this point, we’ve become overly productive.
Now, we are ready to evolve as humans. We desire something different. We desire more freedom and safety. We desire happiness, true fulfillment and satisfaction in life. We desire connection, intimacy, and resources that we don’t have to work extremely hard for. We desire a world that isn’t rooted in competition. We desire a world that isn’t rooted in so many things that just don’t feel good to us anymore. They were necessary at one point for us to get to where we are. But in order to get from where we are now to where we want to go, we’re going to need to understand life, our human, and how they work a little bit differently.

Often, we think we can create these feelings in our world through policies, procedures, and laws. We think we will feel safe and free if we have a lot of money. We look at this world and we want equality. We want everyone to have access to wealth and health. That’s great. It’s amazing that so many of us are on board for this new understanding of how we can be human. But until we do something to change our setpoints, they will continue to bite us in the butt until the end of time.

Now, you may be thinking, Oh, I do that. You don’t. Most of the world, 99.9% of people on this Earth, do not understand how to truly process their emotions. It’s why we are stressed out, anxiety ridden, diseased. It’s why humans are so frustrated watching everything that’s happening in the world right now. The setpoints need to change. And they only change through understanding, fully feeling, and fully releasing our emotions. Because that’s when our actual DNA coding can change how it’s expressed. It can send a different signal to our nervous system, which can send a different signal to our brain, which then in alignment with our conscious thoughts can finally allow us to live a different life.
Think this sounds like weird woo-woo stuff? It’s not. This is science. My background is in biomedical science. I am a researcher. A proof is in the pudding kind of person. Although I have plenty of faith and plenty of woo-woo in my life, this is not it. This is understanding how your human body works.
What you believe is what you see. This is not a theory. This is the truth of how we work. It’s why you might see one thing and somebody else might see a completely different thing, even though the situation you saw was the exact same. It’s happened to all of us. We don’t understand why the other person can’t see what we see. Why do they see something different when we both just witnessed the same thing? It’s literally because we are seeing it completely differently. Because we view the world through our emotions and our experiences. And our emotions and our experiences affect those setpoints. We can’t change the setpoints without changing and shifting the emotions. We can’t shift the emotions without fully feeling them.
Feeling Our Emotions
The interesting thing is, most of the emotions we feel in our day-to-day life are actually just showing us the much deeper emotions that have been there all along. Remember those setpoints and genetic coding we talked about? They weren’t created yesterday. They weren’t even created at your time of birth. It started way back there with your ancestors and has been reinforced over time. And because of that, a lot of the emotions, a lot of the triggers, a lot of the way we see the world aren’t even our own. We’ve just been passed down this coding and belief system.
Here’s a funny story that will illustrate what I mean. It’s a life example not related to our genes but you’ll get the idea. It’s Easter time and a family is gathering for dinner. A little girl watches her mom cut the ends off the ham, put it in the pan, and put it in the oven. The little girl asks, “Mom, why do you cut the ends off of the ham?” The mom says, “I don’t know. That’s how your grandma did it. Go ask her.”
So, the little girl goes to her grandma and asks, “Grandma, why do you cut the ends off the ham when you bake it?” The grandma says, “I don’t know, go ask my mom. I learned it from her.”
The little girl goes to her great grandmother and asks, “Grandma, why do you cut the ends off the ham when you bake it?” And the great grandmother says, “Oh, because the full ham wouldn’t fit into the pan I had so I cut the ends off so it would fit.”
Almost four generations later, they were still cutting the ends off the ham that didn’t need to be cut because nobody actually stopped to question what they were doing, why they were doing it, or understand that maybe there was a different way.
Maybe a lot of the things you feel, see, and understand can be completely and totally different. I know you feel it, because you wouldn’t be here, you wouldn’t be interested in this work and understanding how it can benefit you, if there wasn’t something inside of you in your life saying, “Hmm, I feel like this could be different.” And it can be different. It can be extremely different. But it’s going to require you to understand yourself and this life differently, and begin to integrate the Rapid Relief Technique™ into your life so you can start changing those setpoints.
Making Positive Changes in Our Life
This isn’t a quick fix, get rich, overnight miracle program here. I’m not selling you a pill that you’re going to take and miraculously everything is going to change in an instant. In some sense I am because as you do this, everything is going to change in big ways for you, for the people in your life, and for the world. But, it’s not a one and done. This is a lifestyle. This is an understanding of being human. And really learning the other half of the story that nobody ever taught us. And really, I don’t know if we were ready for it until now. Right? We had some work to get done in this human world. But now we’re ready. There are enough of us feeling off, restless, and wanting something more. This life isn’t just about making money, checking off a list, paying bills, retiring and dying, it’s about so much more.
In order for us to get where we want to go, we have to understand our emotions and fully process them. We do that through the Rapid Relief Technique™ because it changes our setpoints. Do you want to feel safer? We don’t feel safer moving into a better looking community, getting stronger locks on our doors, etc. We have to feel safe from the inside. Think about people with money. There are wealthy people who still worry about money. It’s not about the amount of money. It’s about their abundance setpoint and how safe with money they get to feel. It’s why something like 80% of lottery winners are right back to where they started within two years. Their setpoints didn’t change. It’s why a super healthy person who does all the “right” things but constantly worries and ends up with diseases. They didn’t change their setpoints.
Our setpoints are the same reason something can work for one person but not for another person. Because we all have different setpoints. And we’ve been told for far too long that they can’t be changed. We’ve been told you can’t change your genetics. But I believe you can. Maybe not the actual genes (although I think that’s also possible), but definitely the expression of them. Because I have seen it.
