The human experience is supposed to be so much better than it is for most of us.
There was a time in my life when I didn’t let in all the good. I was scared it would all go away. I was scared I couldn’t handle it. I call it the backhanded bitch slap.
If you put a bunch of crabs in a bucket, and one tries to climb out, they pull him back down. And this is how the world often feels. And I remember wanting things to feel better. We have created this world of struggle and constant sacrifice. We’ve been fed this rhetoric that it is just how it is. “The other shoe is going to drop.”
We live life expecting the worst. We live life fearing the worst. It feels scary to have it all. It feels scary to get what we want, fearing that it will be taken away. We would rather just not have it. This comes from our coding. It’s been systematic. But we are shifting as humans. We are shifting into a world where it’s more collective and collaborative. A world where more people have access to more. But in order for us all to access that, we literally need to recode our DNA.
Ready to recode? Here’s what we have to do:
We do not evolve without emoting. That’s what creates new, lasting change. Everything else is surface level and you will continue to have ups and downs. We don’t want that. We want a transformation that lasts. We want to feel so we can heal so we can rise!
